That is until her doctor deals her a second blow as soon as she gets back home. With the news she received, she knows she’ll have to reconnect with Hakeem again, but is she ready for all that comes this second time around? When the person who’s had her back her entire life declines to be on her side after her recent choices, Brielle must decide if she’s ready to turn her back on the only life she’s ever known and start a new one with the man she loves.Hakeem will not lose Brielle again. Now that he’s experienced true love, he refuses to go back to a hollow existence without it. She’s the only thing in his life that matters and he’s willing to do whatever it takes to keep her this time around. But when temptations come around and threaten to destroy everything they’re trying to rebuild, will Hakeem be strong enough to stay the course and stay devoted to his one true love? Once he’s forced to make some tough choices it pushes him to look deep within himself and ultimately ask; how many “second chances” he really deserves. When you fall short of glory, are you unworthy of it too?Isabella had been riding on Cloud 9 since serving that crushing news to Brielle. The sight of her running away from Hakeem at that resort was the highlight of her year. It saddened her a little to see her childhood friend suffering. But with Brielle out of the picture, at least things could go back to normal for the crew she thought, until months later when she runs into Brielle glowing and looking happier than ever. Now Isabella finally understands Brielle’s value to Hakeem, and she sees that it won’t be as easy to get rid of the girl as she initially thought. They say, keep your friends close and your enemies closer, and no one has been as close to Brielle and Hakeem as Isabella has.Brielle is caught in the middle of a dangerous game that Hakeem and Isabella are playing. With them both refusing to lose this time around, she’ll end up paying the ultimate price for everyone’s deception.
