When Taryn Brooks first meets Soraya Osei, the moment feels brief, electric, and strangely familiar, the kind of encounter that lingers long after it's over. But life moves quickly, and they part ways, thinking they may never see each other again. What neither of them knows is that the story between them has only just begun. Set between London, Atlanta, and Ghana, For A Stranger Who Doesn't Feel Like One follows Soraya and Taryn as they unexpectedly find their way back to each other and discover that love doesn't have to begin in a whirlwind to be meaningful. Through music, humor, and quiet moments of vulnerability, they begin to build something real together. Tender, romantic, funny and emotionally warm, this is a story about recognizing home in another person. Featuring an embedded soundtrack inspired by the soulful romance of Love Jones, Boomerang, and Brown Sugar. Recommended for fans of Insecure, Entergalactic, Rye Lane, Honey Girl, and Flirting Lessons.
