Losing herself for a man who couldn't keep a single promise? That was the real wake-up call.

Long-term relationships have a special way of making a woman lose herself without realizing it. Avaia Smith finds herself backed into a corner with more responsibilities than she'd bargained for and very few options after putting all her trust into her boyfriend, Tre. Desperate times call for desperate measures, leading her to accept an offer from an old friend and spend Sweetest Day doing something completely outside her comfort zone—for one night only.

Avaia throws caution to the wind, determined to put herself and her daughter's well-being first. Her plan is simple: get in, secure the bag, and get out without any trouble or the wrong kind of attention.

Then she catches the attention of Montrez “King” Jones.

The King is a man with money to blow and plenty of time on his hands. Montrez was only looking for a little entertainment, but Avaia checks every box on his list without even knowing it. He finds himself fully seduced by her during one wild night meant for sweetness, but the savage in him takes hold.

Running up a bag is easy, but getting away from a King? Not as simple.
