Not every love story is a romance. Some are the beginning of a nightmareBefore there was Seth. Before there was Luke. Before the Kincaid name became something people feared, there was Richard Kincaid.
Samantha Whitmore never imagined Richard Kincaid would change the course of her life. Charming, intelligent, wealthy, and handsome, Richard appears to be the perfect man. By the time Samantha realizes she married a monster, escape is no longer an option. As his obsession spirals into manipulation, violence, and murder, every choice she makes pulls her deeper into a nightmare built on lies, fear, and blood.
This is where it all began. Before the murders that made headlines. Before the sons who would carry his name. Before one man’s darkness destroyed every life it touched.
For fans of American Psycho and The Stepfather, this haunting prequel to the Psychotic Devotion Trilogy explores the devastating consequences of falling in love with a monster.
