Avery and Ava are one in the same, except Avery is an undercover cop and Ava is an event planner whom she was sent to be to get close to the infamous Creed Jones. Although Avery’s career has been her everything, circumstances have forced her into a hot spot. The unforeseen feelings for the man whom she was supposed to be taking down has led her into a whirlwind of trouble and she doesn’t know which way to turn. The more time Creed spends around Ava, the deeper his feelings become entangled in her web, however; there’s a big problem with that. On one hand, there’s Lexus, a thot who he casually hits from time to time, and she’s upset because he won’t commit. Since meeting Ava, he has been spending less and less time with her and she isn’t feeling that. On the other he doesn’t know Ava’s a cop and unbeknownst to him, fooling around with her could possibly be detrimental to his freedom and his lively hood. Aubrey, Avery’s one and only sister, and Creed’s right hand, is the one person who knows exactly who she is, however she is as knee deep in the drug game as Creed. To take Creed down also means that Avery must take her down as well, and Aubrey is making sure she holds that over Avery’s head. It has come to a point in their lives when they must figure out what’s more important to them. Does Avery choose her career that she’s worked so hard to build or her loved ones? Does Creed choose the one he loves or the one he likes? Are there sacrifices worth the price of what they stand to lose? Or does Avery prove herself as a queen who’s down to ride for her king no matter what?
