When an allergic reaction lands her in the ER with her aloof billionaire boss, she never expects them to leave as a fake couple for Christmas...
Aspiring actress Melissa Stangard wants to leave work on time—for once. But on the day STFU headquarters closes for the holidays, her boss, Warren Grant, needs her to work late.
He also orders a meal that leaves her covered in hives and gasping for air minutes after her first bite.
Then he rushes her to the hospital, and when he intercepts a call from her mom, who assumes they’re dating and that he’s coming home with Melissa for Christmas, he doesn’t object.
Strange.
Melissa plans to clear this up, but then she gets an invitation to audition for a lead role in a boss/assistant holiday romance.
Coincidence? Maybe.
But she needs a reading partner, and she and Warren oddly fit the roles.
Except, the longer they run lines and pretend to be a couple around her family, the fuzzier the boundary between reality and acting becomes, especially when they rehearse that one scene…
