When Dravengarde’s armies conquer her homeland, royal physician Nerida Biko becomes a reluctant prize of war. Sharp-minded, unyielding, and sworn to heal, she is bound to serve the very king who razed her city—Einar Aesir, a battle-hardened monarch with a secret devotion that burns beneath his brutal exterior.

But as court intrigues fester and old alliances fracture, Einar names Nerida his Princess Paramour, upending every rule of power, loyalty, and propriety. Her heart, once guarded, falters. His enemies sharpen their knives.

Meanwhile, Kåre, the queen’s brother and Einar’s former ally, seeks to turn crown and country against them both.

In a kingdom poised to collapse under the weight of war, plague, and betrayal, one woman must choose: heal the man who destroyed her world, or let the realm burn.

I’m Tierra Cox, a romance author and cross-genre novelist devoted to stories where we, Black women, are seen, desired, and worshiped out loud.

By day, I navigate the corporate communications world—but by night, I build realms where monsters kneel, empires burn, and love is never ordinary.

Armed with an overpriced English degree and an imagination that refuses to stay quiet, I write across fantasy, paranormal, sci-fi, and gothic romance—all bound by one promise: Black women at the center of passion, power, and possibility.

Every world I create asks the same question—what does it look like when a woman like us is the story’s beating heart?

When I’m not writing (which is rare), you’ll find me somewhere in Georgia watching bad sci-fi, dreaming about alien royalty, or wandering through my next world before it’s written.

My entire collection is available on NOIR PAGES, in paperback on Amazon and in collections on my website!
