Picking up right where part one left off, Semoré should finally be able to breathe. After everything she survived, she has a man who protects her with everything in him and a future that feels bigger than the fear she used to live under.

But peace does not come easy when danger is still moving in the shadows.

Ellis Wilson is spiraling, and this time his obsession, jealousy, and rage leave more than damage behind. They leave families shattered. For Adriel, that is the final line. He knows there is no talking left to do, no understanding left to offer, and no mercy left to give.

As Semoré and Adriel try to build something real in the middle of grief, the truth surrounding Sasha’s death starts creeping back to the surface, proving that maybe Ellis was never the only monster hiding in plain sight. Betrayal runs deeper than anyone imagined, and what comes out forces Adriel to face the one wound he never truly healed.

Now love, loyalty, and family are all on the line. Semoré has to decide if she is ready for everything that comes with loving a man like Adriel, and Adriel has to prove that being a beast does not stop him from being the safest place she has ever known.

In this African American romance filled with hood love, dangerous passion, family betrayal, grief, and protective alpha male energy, every secret comes to light and every person who thought they could play with the beast learns the hard way that playing with fire always leaves you burned.

When the smoke clears, Semoré and Adriel’s love will either be buried beneath the wreckage or rise as the one thing neither of them can live without.

Find out what their reality is in Safe in the Arms of a Beast 2.
