They were friends… until one mistake made them something way more complicated…

Kaliyah Carter never planned to fall into bed with Prince Jorgensen. Getting pregnant by him? Also not on her bingo card. But one reckless moment with her steady, loyal, way-too-handsome best friend somehow turned into a lifetime of decisions she wasn’t ready to make. How are they supposed to move forward now?

Prince has been in love with Kaliyah for years. But being her friend—her safe place—was better than losing her entirely, so he never pushed for more. Until now. He has about six months to prove he’s more than just her friend. And if he can’t…well, maybe it's time to accept they’ll never be more than co-parents…

Falling for him means risking the friendship she depends on. But walking away might hurt even more. Is Kaliyah brave enough to take the chance—or will fear keep her heart locked away for good?

The One I’ve Always Wanted, book 2 in the Dashwood U series, is a light, funny, slightly angsty contemporary sports rom com that can be read as a standalone. Some spicy times included. Download today and get ready to fall for Kaliyah and Prince.
