A year into his new position a power shift occurs leaving him feeling like he’s the man. Ready for the crown to be bestowed upon his head, Yonas allows the cockiness to come out of him. Arrogance & the need to feel important causes him to lose sight of what’s important.

Loyalty is all Yonas ever asked from Houstyn & being a woman of her word she gave him just that. Through thick & thin she promises to give Yonas her loyalty & love. Differences arise and a loved one loses their life. Tears cloud Houstyn’s vision while pain, anger, & deceit breaks her heart. Left with nothing but the shattered pieces, Houstyn has no choice but to find light in the darkest of days.

Newly parents Ka’Lisha & Drew are on the outs with no real hopes of getting back right. Kay is suffering from postpartum depression while Drew is out running the streets. Both of them are avoiding the elephant in the room because the pain is too hard to face.

Loyalty is tested and bonds are broken. Join these couples as they learn a tough lesson, that sometimes loyalty can’t be matched.","format",{"_32":108,"_31":109,"_110":111,"_112":77},"publisher","Tiece Presents","page_count",225,"duration","published_date","October 2, 2019","pub_date","October 2","isbn","asin","B07YNXN6Y3","hex_code","#8ddfc4","language","English","purchase_links",[],"playlist_links",[],"cover","https://cdn.blackauthored.com/books/2123i/9b57d564-752d-43e1-baa1-4696eb7ac082.jpg","thumb","https://img.blackauthored.com/?preset=poster_thumb&image=https%3A%2F%2Fcdn.blackauthored.com%2Fbooks%2F2123i%2F9b57d564-752d-43e1-baa1-4696eb7ac082.jpg",3,"Kindle","type","digital","audio","order",{"_32":48,"_31":49,"_50":51,"_115":20,"_116":-5,"_35":117,"_118":119,"_52":53},"biography","image",88,"roles",[120],"author","7919a44a-efbd-4d82-996b-f55d7e2cb4e1",2116,[],[141],"d38cacb8-b165-408d-b078-bfae90b62276",{"_13":34,"_32":33,"_113":62},"Aug 2019","2019-08-14","2131-match-my-loyalty","For twenty-year-old Houstyn, there wasn’t much to life outside of school and running track. With a sick mother, Houstyn is determined to make her proud. She throws herself into her academics & athletics with hopes of making it into the Olympics. As the road to success becomes the weight of the world on her shoulders, she turns to an unlikely high that takes her as low as she can go. An ugly, desperate situation nearly takes a turn for the worse, but a charming suitor gives Houstyn hope.

Yonas has only one goal in mind, stack his bread & become the King of it all. Starting off as a corner boy he quickly climbs the ranks thanks to Houstyn. Not only does she provide him the means to get on top, but she also gives him the opportunity to make her his woman. Never looking for love but welcoming it into his heart, Yonas takes on the task of being with someone as green as Houstyn.

Always playing the cat & mouse game, Ka’Lisha caves in & gives Drewsyn the chance of a lifetime. Years go by & things seem to be going well. However, with three kids by two different women, Drewsyn is ready to make Ka’Lisha a part of his baby momma crew. The difference in opinion causes a rift, leaving them to figure out if love is really worth the fight.

As relationships are being tested and trust not so easily given, will unresolved feelings ultimately tear them apart? Or, will love find its way in a soulmate that will match their loyalty?",{"_32":108,"_31":109,"_110":111,"_112":77},265,"August 14, 2019","August 14","B07WMW8TJD","#89ddcc",[],[],"https://cdn.blackauthored.com/books/2116i/d38cacb8-b165-408d-b078-bfae90b62276.jpg","https://img.blackauthored.com/?preset=poster_thumb&image=https%3A%2F%2Fcdn.blackauthored.com%2Fbooks%2F2116i%2Fd38cacb8-b165-408d-b078-bfae90b62276.jpg",{"_32":48,"_31":49,"_50":51,"_115":20,"_116":-5,"_35":117,"_118":142,"_52":53},[120],"isLoggedIn",["P",144],"result",{"_13":153,"_22":154,"_19":155,"_156":157,"_24":158,"_159":160,"_25":161},"user","themePreference","light","storedTheme","gaId","G-Z1HVZ17GZ3","Blackauthored","%s","Find your next Black authored read and connect with readers with the similar taste.","handle","@blackauthored","https://blackauthored.com","robots",{"_172":77,"_173":77},{"_27":28,"_29":162,"_31":153,"_163":164,"_165":166,"_24":158},"Organization","logo","https://cdn.blackauthored.com/images/og-image.png","sameAs",[167,168,169,170,171],"https://twitter.com/blackauthored","https://facebook.com/blackauthored","https://instagram.com/blackauthored","https://youtube.com/blackauthored","https://tiktok.com/@blackauthored","noIndex","noFollow"]
