From the streets to the sanctuary… Could the most unexpected pairing be exactly what they needed?

As one of Sleighton’s most eligible bachelors, Brick West wants for nothing. There isn’t a woman he can’t have, expense he can’t afford, or limit he can’t reach. Until a demand from his overbearing mother throws his entire world off its axis.

Find a wife. Or lose everything.

He tries to call her bluff, but gets a swift reminder that the infamous Lady West is not to be toyed with or doubted. Now, he’s left scrambling to make it down the aisle to protect his legacy. She can force him to get married, but she can’t force him to fall in love… Right?

Destiny Cooper is a good girl, a God-fearing woman. Her entire life was spent suppressing her wants and needs and serving the church in order to please her strict father. She finds out that he’s not everything he claims to be, and in order to save his life, must do the unthinkable. Being promised to the foul-mouthed, flashy, stranger was not what she planned for her life, but she quickly finds out that sometimes the biggest blessings come when you least expect them.
