She’s in control of the most powerful empire…and it’ll take more than her Desert Eagle to keep it.
Penelope Santos has lived her entire life in the shadow of her father, Geraldo, but now that he’s dead…his empire’s hers.
But the men who feared him refuse to give her the same respect.
When fellow cartel leaders begin questioning her claim that Geraldo died from a sudden heart attack, Penelope finds herself fighting to hold onto an empire they believe a woman has no business running.
The only problem? Only two other people knew what really happened to her father…her most trusted lieutenant and the man she loves.
As if that isn’t enough, secrets within Penelope’s circle threaten to change everything she knew about her father and the people she trusts. And Quan Anderson, the man she’s lowered her guard for and fallen in love with, is starting to show her a side of himself she can no longer ignore.
She knows what she feels for him but what she doesn’t know…is if he feels the same.
Meanwhile, a new, ruthless leader has taken Hector Valasquez’s place, but not only does she want Mexico, she wants everything Penelope controls on top of it too.
With bodies piling up in multiple countries, Penelope discovers who’s standing beside her, and who’s waiting for the chance to put her in the ground.
With a shootout waiting for her at every turn…
